Soft Play Rentals in Kansas City - About Us

Flash back to 2018 - we were planning our daughter's first birthday party and searching for children's party entertainment that she would enjoy. She had just learned to walk a couple of weeks prior, so we needed activities that were safe for a tottering toddler. 

A family member living in California suggested we consider soft play rentals. Not having a clue what soft play was, we turned to the internet for answers. We discovered images of ball pits, hoppers, slides, and foam blocks and thought, "Wow, this is perfect!" We began looking for soft play rental options in Kansas City but found that most didn't match the aesthetics of our party or home. We reached out to some suppliers about purchase options, but we couldn't get the equipment in time for the party and the pricing was steep. 

Just when we were about to give up, we found a white ball pit for rent that was simply amazing! The neutral color looked fantastic against our party décor, and the ball pit provided hours of entertainment for the kids; our daughter adored it. However, it could have been even better if we had additional soft play equipment to give the kids more options to climb on, crawl through, slide off, and unleash their creativity and imagination. After the birthday party, we revisited the idea of bringing luxe soft play rentals to Kansas City. 

That moment marked the conception of PLAY HAUS.
